This post is regrettably late. My sincerest apologies. The ministry is experiencing some growing pains as we move forward. Thank you so much for your patience. An update will be released soon!
Embarking Upon 5777-2016
For those of you who don’t understand the significance of this post, we are getting ready to close a Jubilee year, which ends a fifty-year ‘generation’ in the Kingdom of God. We are teetering upon a threshold. We are standing upon a precipice. We are getting ready to enter a new season on God’s divine calendar.
On the eve of October 2, 2016 — just one month from now — we will usher in a new year on Rosh Hashanah, which is otherwise known as The Feast of Trumpets. God is desperately trying to get His Church ready for the days and years ahead. Therefore, it’s important that we understand the significance of this new year and what to anticipate.
At sundown on October 2, 2016, the trumpets will sound…
Be ready.
How God Measures Time
God numbers time in terms of sevens.
This is important to understand as we move forward in this post. That is true of weeks, years, and millennia.
He created all that we see in six days and on the seventh day He rested. That day is called the Sabbath. He gives us six years to work the land, and in the seventh year we are commanded to rest. That seventh year is called the Shemitah. There are seven Shemitahs, hence the passing of 49 years. The 50th year is the Jubilee year, which is the current year we are celebrating.
Since the beginning of time, and according to the scriptural genealogies so carefully recorded, the Hebrew calendar has counted 5777 years, which we will soon celebrate. That means we are currently in the sixth millennium. We are merely 223 years away from entering the seventh and final millennium, which is the millennial rest. What can we anticipate during that millennial rest? What do we call it? The millennial rest is the thousand-year reign of Christ wherein Satan is bound (see Revelation 20).
That sounds like a beautiful season of rest, don’t you think?
Many Hebrew and Jewish scholars contend for the accuracy of the Hebraic calendar. I personally believe it to be accurate, and for many reasons. In the past two years God has performed extraordinary miracles in the heavens that have given witness to the fact that we are on the cusp of something glorious and fearsome.
Two Years of Divine Rest
Again, the Jubilee year comes only once every 50 years. It’s a divine year of rest and celebration unlike any other wherein all debts are cleared, slaves are freed, and there is deliverance from old bondages or debts. How did the Jewish people survive two years of rest (Shemitah & Jubilee) without working the land?
Only by a miracle. It was during this time that God made abundant provision for them. It is only by faith in God that we can truly enter His rest and cease from our labors. Jews understand this readily. However, that spiritual principle and its significance is one the Church must learn as well.
The odds are that most individuals have the fortunate opportunity to celebrate the Jubilee only once in their lifetime. If this was your opportunity, I hope you didn’t miss it.
We’ve just experienced two consecutive years of divine rest:
The Shemitah: 5775 (2014-2015)
The Jubilee: 5776 (2015-2016)
During this time we saw a total of four blood moons falling upon the Feasts of Passover and Sukkot with impeccable precision. Passover begins Israel’s spiritual year. Sukkot ends the spiritual year. We also experienced a Super Moon sandwiched between them which is extraordinarily rare.
What does all this mean? If you’d like to know, Four Blood Moons was released in June 2015, which attempts to explain these events in light of history, science, and scripture. If you have the opportunity or means, I recommend you see this film if you haven’t already. It can be found on Amazon.
Here are the questions I encourage you to consider:
1.) What took place in your life during these two years of divine rest? Please ponder that carefully. I encourage you to write it down. Get out your journals. Compile some information. Perhaps draw a timeline of events. What did God perform? What did He speak? What significant events transpired in your personal life?
2.) What took place in the world? Time would fail us to recount the events. But when we consider Israel, there is no question that we are hinging upon extraordinary prophetic promises and their fulfillment:
• The salvation of the Jewish people in record numbers never before seen
• The U.N. strategy against Israel
• Clear and defined plans for the reconstruction of the 3rd Temple
• The one world religion that is now setting stage in Jerusalem through the Pope
• Increased persecution of the Church and antisemitism throughout the world
And much, much more, all which are recorded in scripture.
A New Season — 5777
We’re about to welcome a new season in God’s kingdom. Things are going to shake ladies and gentlemen. You better be ready.
With respect to the next fifty years I believe we’re going to see three primary things, which I encourage you to be prayerful about. Perhaps God has shown you some things as well. Here is what I believe He’s shown me:
An increase in apostasy as Christ prophesied: There will be a sifting of the Church whereby God begins to firmly address the “lukewarmness” among believers — especially in the so-called Western Church. Judgment begins with the house of God. God is going to begin dealing with His Church ladies and gentlemen. He’s not going to tolerate what slipped by before. He’s going to really begin to address things strictly and firmly — on an individual as well as a corporate level.
When this begins we’re going to see a major exposure of some of the Christian ministers of notoriety who are not preaching truth. They will fall — and hard. How that will occur, only God knows. But I believe we’re going to see is an increase in the judgment of God upon His Church. And He’s going to issue an opportunity to repent — by which individuals must come to a place of private reckoning. They will either be for Him or against Him.
The spiritual thermometer that God uses is going to demand a response. There will be no middle ground any longer. The nominal Christian is going to be forced to make a decision for Christ. Many will come to a place of reckoning with their faith, and the majority, as we will find — are going to sadly fall away. When that happens do not be shocked. But watch — the chosen remnant will come forth and rise up.
An increase in persecution of the Church: The remnant that God refines in this next season are going to walk with Christ on a level of intimacy and power the Church has not displayed in a long, long time — perhaps even since the book of Acts. God is going to continue to prepare and refine His elect for the days ahead, which will become increasingly difficult and tenuous. The light of the true Church of Jesus Christ will shine brightly. It will agitate those who desire to dwell in darkness, who hate the light.
I believe that there will be a greater unity in the Body of Christ worldwide that will join forces to achieve the will of God on earth as it is in Heaven in these last days. God’s Spirit will pour out in incredible ways that are undeniable. For those who say “Yes” to Christ, He will richly supply. But there will be great suffering and persecution for those who do so.
An increase in Jews receiving their Messiah: I believe the salvation of Israel will increase exponentially. We are going to see Jews and Arabs come to Christ in droves.
As the fullness of the Gentiles is fulfilled, I believe we’re going to slowly witness a type of inversion take place: We’re going to see more and more Jews come to Christ at which time we’ll also see the great falling away among the Gentiles. Gentile conversions will begin to slowly taper off as the fullness of the Gentiles is actually fulfilled. When that happens the true unified Church is going to be extraordinarily powerful.
The Gospel is coming full circle back to Jerusalem from where it started. As Israel begins to awaken to their Messiah, the one world religion that we’re now seeing advance will continue to accelerate through the world powers as we approach the Day of our LORD’s return. All of this will set the stage for the rise of the antichrist.
Are you ready?
I believe the LORD has done extraordinary feats in the heavens and on earth to alert us to the time. The four blood moons are the spiritual eclipse to the closing of this fifty-year generation. That is significant! We are embarking upon a new season that will be very exciting, very fulfilling, very rewarding, but also very difficult, and perhaps very scary.
The Year 5777 and It’s Numeric Significance
Many have wondered what 5777 will bring, and so there have been attempts to read into the numbers. There is no doubt that numerology is present in the Bible. It’s undeniable. However, although that may be helpful in determining the meaning of this year, the manner in which that can be done varies widely. By no means does an attempt to understand biblical numerology give us a license to make hard interpretations upon scripture or presumptions upon God. That is a divination that God condemns. However, I believe there are some obvious points worth noting. Let’s do so very carefully.
In the simplest terms we see a five followed by three consecutive sevens. Therefore the significant numbers are as follows:
5 — 7 — 3
The Number 5
The number five is often attributed to grace. If you look it up that is often what you’ll find. However, I don’t believe this meaning is true or accurate. Most who hold to that belief have no understanding of the Hebraic. Let me explain.
Five is the number associated with the Law and judgment, which can be seen clearly in the Torah (the Pentateuch). Christ used the number five to describe the number of talents given to His servants of which He would exact a report. He also used the number five to describe the ten virgins — five of whom were wise, and five of whom were foolish. Five is also the number used to outline the offices entrusted to the Church (Apostle, Prophet, Pastor, Evangelist, Teacher).
However, to understand the number five, we must also understand the number ten.
The Number 10
The numbers 5 and 10 are both associated with the Law and God’s judgments — but in different ways. These numbers are intimately related.
Ten is the number associated with justice, judgment and precise measurements or just weights, by which God takes all things into account. Ten is that baseline number by which mathematical precision is determined. It’s the number associated with the Law which is found in the Ten Commandments, the Parable of the Unjust Steward, the Parable of the Ten Virgins, and in High Holy Days of Yamim Noraim (the Ten Days of Awe) when the Jews enter into a season of solemn fasting, prayer and repentance. Yom Kippur falls on the tenth day of the month, and is the Day of Atonement in which God’s judgment is final.
The number 10 is the standard of measure by which God judges in truth, righteousness and justice. We see that depicted clearly in the Law and Christ’s many parables. The number 5 is a division of 10, which represents our stewardship for those things He’s invested in us. Five is the number by which we are rightly divided and thus weighed in His balances — upon which His judgment is rightfully decreed according to His standard, which is 10.
The Number 7
Seven is the number of perfect completion. Again, God measures time in terms of seven. We see seven days in a week, and seven years upon which the Shemitah is celebrated. We see seven trumpets blown in Revelation, when Christ returns upon the seventh trumpet, which marks the end of the Age. When it comes to completion, there’s nothing beyond the number seven. When Christ told Peter to forgive his brother seventy times seven — He was making a very clear point. Seven is the number of perfect completion.
The Number 3
Three is a number that represents God Himself. It is the number of divinity. We see it in the Trinity, the age of Jesus when He died (He was 33), the hour at which He died, and the number of days in which He rose again. These are only a few examples of many more.
The Interpretation
Does this mean anything for the year 5777? Possibly. We have yet to see. At this time we can do no more than merely speculate.
An educated guess would say we are getting ready to enter into a time of judgment, wherein God will carefully weigh us in His holy balances. We will experience His justice, as well as His judgments — both in the world, and in the Church. As for completion, there’s no way of knowing what God will complete during this season. But we clearly see His divinity. That is undeniable.
Let’s remember that biblical numerology cannot replace divine revelation that comes by the Holy Spirit. Nor can it be a means of divination, which God condemns. He is the only One who holds these secrets, and He’s the only One who can reveal them. So let’s be careful and fear God. Let’s never be too quick to presume anything upon Him to which He is not obligated. He will prove Himself faithful in due time.
Let’s be true to what we do know: We’re entering into a new season for which God has gone to great lengths in preparing us. Let’s celebrate with holy fear, trembling, and awe as we move forward on God’s divine timeline. The next fifty years await us as even we await His glorious return. We don’t know when that will be… Yet there is no doubt that our redemption draws nigh.
Let’s be ready.
