Yeshua HaMashiach
Jesus Christ is the promised Messiah.
Who is Jesus?
That is a very good question, and I’m delighted that you’ve asked. If you’ve come to this page wondering who this man is, I endeavor to provide you some solid answers through various resources, links, media, and ministries — all which provide the necessary information you need to satisfy your curiosities.
Jesus Christ is the LORD and promised Messiah. He was proclaimed by the Law, Prophets, and Apostles, whose accounts are in the Holy Bible. With respect to the Law and Prophets of the Old Covenant, He fulfilled every requirement of the Law, and He fulfilled every prophecy spoken about Him.

His Lineage
Jesus Christ is both the Son of God, and the Son of Man, who is also known as the Last Adam (see 1 Corinthians 15:22-45). You may wonder if He has a genealogy. He does, which can be found in the following:
Matthew’s genealogy of Christ can be found HERE.
Luke’s genealogy of Christ can be found HERE, which begins in verse 23.
Both accounts reveal the same lineage, yet trace it from a different point of origin. Luke’s account begins with Joseph, and reveals Christ to be the Son of God. In contrast, Matthew’s account begins with Abraham, who is the “father of nations”, and ends with Joseph, revealing Jesus to be the Christ (Messiah) through the virgin birth.
His Life
Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born in Bethlehem to a young Jewish girl named, Mary, who was a virgin (see Luke 1-3). Jesus was Jewish. He grew up in Nazareth, and was of the tribe of Judah. He proclaimed that salvation is of the Jews (see John 4:22).
Jesus Christ lived a perfect and sinless life. At the age of 30 he was baptized by John the Baptist and released into His earthly ministry, during which time He traveled for three years extensively throughout the land of Israel declaring a message of repentance and that the kingdom of God was at hand (see Mark 1:15). He was sent to the lost sheep of Israel. However, He did not neglect to minister to the surrounding Gentiles as well, namely the neighboring Samaritans and Romans. On several accounts He brought salvation, healing, and deliverance to Gentiles who sought Him. He was utterly impartial, and even declared that some of the greatest faith He had seen came not from Israel, but from Gentile believers (see Matthew 8:5-11).
Jesus Christ continued John’s message of repentance, teaching forgiveness, mercy, love, righteousness, and judgment which can best be identified within His Sermon on the Mount and His many parables (see Matthew chapters 5-7). The scriptures declare that He went about doing good, performing His Father’s work by healing, bringing deliverance from demons, and raising the dead. He fed more than five thousand with a few loaves of bread, walked on water, and calmed tempests with a mere word. Christ openly demonstrated His authority and power over both the spiritual and natural world, performing creative miracles in both man and nature. He chose twelve disciples to follow Him, whom He called to be His witnesses. He taught them His truth, God’s ways, and the mysteries of the kingdom of God. He also taught them how to continue His work, bringing His message of salvation and repentance to the whole world, which He commanded them to preach to every creature under heaven (see Matthew 28:18-20 and Acts 1).
Jesus Christ died at the age of 33 on Passover on April 3, 33 A.D. at 3 pm (see Rick Larson’s video). He is the sacrificial Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. He initiated a New Covenant of grace through faith by surrendering His broken body and shed blood for the redemption of all mankind. To best understand what Christ accomplished please read these two books from the New Testament: ROMANS & HEBREWS. This shedding of blood began in the Garden of Gethsemane where He prayed the night of His betrayal. He did so on the eve of Passover becoming the perfect Lamb of God who was sacrificed for our sin. He suffered, died and was buried, descending into hell. On the third day He rose again and ascended into heaven, giving a commission to His disciples and followers to preach whatsoever He taught them, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (see Matthew 28 and Acts 1).
Jesus fulfilled the perfect will of His Father on earth as it is in heaven. He fulfilled the Law and all the Prophets spoke of Him as the promised Messiah.
The four Gospel accounts in the Holy Bible record the life of Christ with candid detail, revealing His many teachings and miracles that took place within the three years of His earthly life. These are the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. I encourage you to read them. You may do so by CLICKING HERE and entering the book of your choice. His Prophetic Fulfillment
In summary, Christ fulfilled His Father’s will on earth as it was in heaven. He fulfilled the Law and every prophecy spoken of Him. He lived a very short earthly life that was divinely powerful, lasting only 33 years; the last three of which He spent in full time ministry.
If you are Jewish, you will have obvious questions and curiosities, and will need to understand His prophetic fulfillment. Please begin by CLICKING HERE to read the article, Yeshua the Messiah? published by the ministry One for Israel.

The Old Testament passage of Isaiah 53 is the most heralded passage of all Old Testament books, which describes Christ life, sacrifice, and atonement for all mankind.
Key Biblical Proclamations of Jesus Christ
There are many proclamations about Jesus Christ in the Word of God, many which He made of Himself. It is not expedient to exhaust them here, but it is important to provide those which are key to the Christian faith. In summary, Jesus Christ is the promised Messiah who alone fulfilled the Law and the Prophets as proclaimed by Israel, the Jewish people on the following points:
He is the Word made flesh who dwelt among us, and salvation is found in no other (John 1:1-3 and Acts 4:12).
Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life for all mankind by whom men must be saved (John 14:6).
Jesus Christ is the fullness of God incarnate, being born of the virgin, Mary (Luke 1-3). He is the perfect embodiment of the Holy Trinity, being fully God (the Son of God) and fully man (the Son of Man), (Colossians 2:9).
Jesus Christ is the perfect Lamb of God who came to redeem mankind from the curse and take away the sin of the world (John 1:29 and Revelation 17:14).
Jesus Christ lived, died, was buried, descended into hell, rose again from the dead, and ascended into heaven where He is now seated at the right hand of His Father (1 Corinthians 15:4, Ephesians 4:9-10, and Hebrews 1-6). Jesus Christ is alive forevermore, having gained victory over the world, the devil, death, hell and the grave (see Colossians 1-3 and Revelation 1-3). He will return to judge the living and the dead as promised (1 Corinthians 15 and Revelation 19-22).
The salvation Christ offers is for all mankind, being freely given by grace through faith to all who believe and repent of their sin (Ephesians 1-3 and Romans 3-5).
Jesus Christ is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, who holds the keys of hell and death. We believe Jesus Christ is King of kings and LORD of lords who is both the Lamb of God and the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, who will return as prophesied and promised, in vengeance and wrath to execute God’s just and righteous judgment upon the world, the nations, and every soul — both the living and the dead (2 Timothy 4:1 and Revelation chapters 1-3 & 19-22).
All who are found in Christ, being written in His book, are the redeemed who will receive eternal salvation and will be spared the second death, which is the last enemy to be overcome. Christ’s redeemed, whose sins are forgiven, will be granted eternal life in God’s presence to live and reign with Him forever in His Kingdom (the New Jerusalem), which is without end. Those who are not found in Christ will receive eternal damnation with the devil and his angels, and will suffer everlasting torment as a just punishment for their sin, being forever separated from God to dwell in the lake of fire (Revelation 19-22).
