This is an inter-denominational Christian organization which adheres strictly to the written Word of God, revealing the one true living God in three persons. Our sole allegiance is to Jesus Christ and His Word. We do not embrace or endorse any specific man-made doctrine or denomination, and therefore doctrinal differences have been laid aside.
With that being said, we understand the need to clarify specific doctrinal beliefs for the public. For those who want to know precisely where we stand and what we believe regarding key biblical issues and/or definitions, we have provided the following doctrinal statement with the accompanying scriptures. If you have questions about additional issues or need further clarification on those presented here, please contact us. GOD: We believe the one true living God is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He is the great I AM. He is one God in three persons who is revealed as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit — otherwise known as the Holy Trinity. We believe God is eternally self-existent. There has never been, nor shall there ever be any other God before or after Him. We believe God is the perfect embodiment of love, righteousness, holiness, mercy, justice and truth who holds all power and authority both in heaven and on earth. We believe God is self-evident and has made Himself freely known to all mankind, being clearly manifest in the following five ways: | Exodus 3:6 & 14, 15 • 1 John 5:7 • Revelation 1:8 • Genesis 1:1 • John 1:1 • Isaiah 45:5 • Psalm 103 • 1 John 1-5 • Revelation 19:11-16 • Colossians 1:12-20
(1) Through creation | Romans 1:18-20
(2) Through the conscience of every man. | Romans 2:15
(3) Through the written and spoken Word of His testimony as revealed through the Apostles and Prophets. | Ephesians 2:20
(4) Through His one and only Son Jesus Christ our LORD. | Deuteronomy 18:15 • Matthew 17:5 • Matthew 5:17 • John 1:1-17 • John 6:35

THE MESSIAH & SALVATION: We believe Jesus Christ is the promised Messiah who alone fulfilled the Law and the Prophets as proclaimed by the Apostles & Prophets: | Luke 24:44 • Ephesians 3:5
We believe Jesus Christ is the Word made flesh who dwelt among us, and that salvation is found in no other. | John 1:1 • Acts 4:12
We believe Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life for all mankind by whom men must be saved. | John 14:6 • Acts 4:12
We believe Jesus Christ is the fullness of God incarnate, being born of the virgin, Mary. He is the perfect embodiment of the Holy Trinity, being fully God (the Son of God) and fully man (the Son of Man). | Colossians 2:9 • Matthew 16:16-18 • Luke 18:31
We believe Jesus Christ is the perfect Lamb of God who came to redeem mankind from the curse and take away the sin of the world. | John 1:29 • John 3:16 • 1 John 4:14 • Galatians 3:12-14
We believe in the life, death, burial, descending, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ who is alive forevermore and is seated at the Father’s right hand, having gained victory over the world, the devil, death, hell and the grave. We believe He will return to judge the living and the dead as promised. | Ephesians 4:9-10 • Acts 1:1-11 • Colossians 1:5-29 • Revelation 1 & 20-22

We believe Jesus Christ is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, who holds the keys of hell and death. We believe Jesus Christ is King of kings and LORD of lords who is both the Lamb of God and the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, who will return as prophesied and promised, in vengeance and wrath to execute God’s just and righteous judgment upon the world, the nations, and every soul — both the living and the dead. | Matthew 24:27-51 • Matthew 25:1-46 • Revelation 1:11, 17-18 • Revelation 5:5-13 • Revelation 19:11-21
We believe God’s just and righteous judgment will be revealed in the resurrection (a.k.a. rapture) at the return of Christ, and at the final judgment when the Lamb’s Book of Life is opened. | Matthew 24:29-31 • 1 Corinthians 15:13-28 • 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 • 2 Thessalonians 1:4-10 and 2:1-12 • Revelation 19:11-21 • Revelation 20:11-15

They are one with Christ They are the redeemed who will receive eternal salvation and will be spared the second death, which is the last enemy to be overcome. Christ’s redeemed, whose sins are forgiven, will be granted eternal life in God’s presence to live and reign with Him forever in His Kingdom (the New Jerusalem), which is without end. | John 3:1-21 • Revelation 21:27 • John 17:1-26 • Ephesians 1:1-23 • Colossians 3:3-4 • Galatians 2:20 & 3:28 • Revelation 20:6 • Revelation 14 • Revelation 21:1-27

UNITY OF THE CHURCH: We believe there is only one God, one LORD, one baptism, and one Body of Christ. | Romans 12:4-5 • 1 Corinthians 12:13 • Ephesians 2:11-22; 4:4
WORD OF GOD: We believe the Holy Bible in its original texts and tongues, in whole, is absolutely perfect, being God-breathed. We believe the Holy Bible is authored by God Almighty, being written by chosen men who penned it under the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit. As such, we believe the Holy Bible is the final authoritative, inerrant, and eternal Word of the one true living God, which is comprised of the sixty-six canonized books. | Psalm 18:30 • John 1:1 • 2 Timothy 3:16 • 1 Peter 1:24 • Matthew 24:35 • 2 Peter 1:21
DOCTRINE: We believe the Holy Bible cannot be added to or subtracted from in any manner, and that there are just punishments reserved for those who do so. We believe the transliteration of the Holy texts into other languages, according to their original Hebrew, Greek, and Chaldean tongues, are to be handled with pristine accuracy, with the utmost fear and reverence of God through the Berean approach. We believe those who teach falsehood, lies, error, and heresy will be held accountable for their deception according to the holy scriptures. | Acts 17:10-12 • 2 Timothy 2:15 • Galatians 1:8-9 • 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 • 2 Timothy 3:13-16 • 1 Peter 2: 6-8 • 2 Peter 2:1 – 3:18 • Jude 1-25 • Revelation 22:18-19
THEOLOGY: We believe the Holy Bible, as the final authority, is not subject to the interpretation of man, but is only revealed by Christ through the Holy Spirit, to whom all men are subject. | Galatians 1:10-12 • 2 Peter 1:16-21 • John 14:26
ETERNAL SALVATION: We believe Jesus Christ came to offer complete salvation to all of mankind, both to Jews and Gentiles, in body, soul, and spirit, precisely as God prophesied, promised, and foretold, through His one and only Son’s perfect and finished work on the cross. The proclamation of His salvation was predicated by a preaching of repentance by John the Baptist who initially prepared the way of the LORD for His chosen people, Israel. Jesus Christ made it clear that unless we repent of our sins we cannot be saved. A saving faith in Him will always be accompanied by repentance. Salvation is extended to mankind by grace through faith in Him. It is God’s gracious gift to all mankind which cannot be earned, lest any man boast. The fruit of salvation is a holy life that bears Christ’s character and His works. Upon receiving salvation, the rebirth of the believer is performed by the Holy Spirit by which one becomes “born again”. We are then sealed with the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ promised He would not leave us as orphans, but promised us the indwelling Holy Spirit. Through the indwelling Holy Spirit we have constant communion and unbroken fellowship with Jesus Christ. We are called to be ever filled with the Holy Spirit, walking in the Spirit of God even as Jesus Christ did. Jesus Christ proclaimed that those who believe in Him would perform the same works He did, and works even greater than those He performed. Those who inherit salvation are known as “saints”. They are citizens of Heaven. They no longer belong to this world, but to God. Christ says those who inherit true salvation will be few, and that the path is narrow that leads to life. He says few will find it. Christ tells all who would follow Him to “count the cost” and to take up their cross, deny themselves, and follow Him daily. Paul exhorts all who profess Jesus Christ to test themselves in the faith and to work out their own salvation with fear and trembling. Jesus Christ makes it clear that all those who come to Him, He will in no wise cast out. He also says that many are called, but few are chosen. Those who remain faithful to Him and endure to the end will be saved. That end may be our own death, or His glorious return — to whichever we are predestined. We believe salvation can be lost through a life of iniquity (lawlessness), transgression (willful unrepentant sin) and/or apostasy (renouncing, leaving the faith, or denying Christ), of which Christ and His apostles sternly warn. Such a life is chosen, and is never accidental. Jesus Christ will confess before His Father and the holy angels all who confess Him. He will deny before His Father and the holy angels all who deny Him. He knows those who are His, and He is able to keep them. | Luke 3:1-22 • Mark 1: 14-15 • Luke 13: 3 & 5 • Ephesians 2: 8-9 • James 2:14-26 • John 3:3 • Ephesians 1:13 • Ephesians 4:30 • John 14:16-21 • Romans 8:26-27 • Ephesians 5:18 • 1 John 1:7 • 1 John 1:3-6 • John 14:12 • Ephesians 4:12 • Philippians 3:20 • John 17:14 • Matthew 7:14 • Luke 14:28-33 • Philippians 2:12 • John 6:37 • Matthew 20:16 • Matthew 22:14 • Matthew 10:22 • Matthew 24:13 • 1 Timothy 4:1 • 2 Timothy 2:19 • Jude 1:24 • 2 Timothy 1:12 • Matthew 10:32-33 • Revelation 3:5 • John 10:27-30 • 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
ETERNAL DAMNATION (Condemnation): We believe Christ came to seek and to save “the lost”. God also graciously promises to be found by all those who seek Him. We believe the lost are those who have not sought God, or who have refused the revealed knowledge of God, either by creative evidence or the testimony of His witnesses. Consequently, when the knowledge of Christ is refused, the opportunity to believe on Him, and repent and be saved is forfeited. Therefore, they are not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life and the just punishment for sin is enacted. All those who are not found written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will receive eternal damnation with the devil and his angels, and will suffer everlasting torment as a just punishment for their sin, being forever separated from God to dwell in the lake of fire. Christ’s will is that all repent and be saved from their sin, and has made abundant provision for all mankind through His atonement on the cross for those who would believe upon Him, repent of their sin, and receive His gift of eternal life. | Luke 19:10 • Matthew 9:13 • 2 Peter 3:6-18 • Deuteronomy 4:29 • Psalm 14:2 • Psalm 27:8 • Jeremiah 29:11-14 • John 6:37 • Romans 3:10-18 • Psalm 10:4 • Acts 1:8 • Romans 1:18-20 • Luke 24:47 • Acts 16:31 • Acts 26:15-31 • Romans 1:16 • Romans 3:22 • Romans 10:4 • 1 John 3:23 • Revelation 13:8 • Revelation 20:15 • Matthew 25:1-46 • Revelation 20:11-15 • Acts 26:18 • Romans 6:23 • 2 Peter 3:6-18

Creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended to heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy universal Christian church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

“Know that the LORD Himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves…” -Psalm 100:3
Preamble
Evangelical Christians at the dawn of the twenty-first century find themselves living in a period of historic transition. As Western culture has become increasingly post-Christian, it has embarked upon a massive revision of what it means to be a human being. By and large the spirit of our age no longer discerns or delights in the beauty of God’s design for human life. Many deny that God created human beings for his glory, and that his good purposes for us include our personal and physical design as male and female. It is common to think that human identity as male and female is not part of God’s beautiful plan, but is, rather, an expression of an individual’s autonomous preferences. The pathway to full and lasting joy through God’s good design for his creatures is thus replaced by the path of shortsighted alternatives that, sooner or later, ruin human life and dishonor God.
This secular spirit of our age presents a great challenge to the Christian church. Will the church of the Lord Jesus Christ lose her biblical conviction, clarity, and courage, and blend into the spirit of the age? Or will she hold fast to the word of life, draw courage from Jesus, and unashamedly proclaim his way as the way of life? Will she maintain her clear, counter-cultural witness to a world that seems bent on ruin?
We are persuaded that faithfulness in our generation means declaring once again the true story of the world and of our place in it—particularly as male and female. Christian Scripture teaches that there is but one God who alone is Creator and Lord of all. To him alone, every person owes gladhearted thanksgiving, heart-felt praise, and total allegiance. This is the path not only of glorifying God, but of knowing ourselves. To forget our Creator is to forget who we are, for he made us for himself. And we cannot know ourselves truly without truly knowing him who made us. We did not make ourselves. We are not our own. Our true identity, as male and female persons, is given by God. It is not only foolish, but hopeless, to try to make ourselves what God did not create us to be.
We believe that God’s design for his creation and his way of salvation serve to bring him the greatest glory and bring us the greatest good. God’s good plan provides us with the greatest freedom. Jesus said he came that we might have life and have it in overflowing measure. He is for us and not against us. Therefore, in the hope of serving Christ’s church and witnessing publicly to the good purposes of God for human sexuality revealed in Christian Scripture, we offer the following affirmations and denials.
Article 1
WE AFFIRM that God has designed marriage to be a covenantal, sexual, procreative, lifelong union of one man and one woman, as husband and wife, and is meant to signify the covenant love between Christ and his bride the church.
WE DENY that God has designed marriage to be a homosexual, polygamous, or polyamorous relationship. We also deny that marriage is a mere human contract rather than a covenant made before God.
Article 2
WE AFFIRM that God’s revealed will for all people is chastity outside of marriage and fidelity within marriage.
WE DENY that any affections, desires, or commitments ever justify sexual intercourse before or outside marriage; nor do they justify any form of sexual immorality.
Article 3
WE AFFIRM that God created Adam and Eve, the first human beings, in his own image, equal before God as persons, and distinct as male and female.
WE DENY that the divinely ordained differences between male and female render them unequal in dignity or worth.
Article 4
WE AFFIRM that divinely ordained differences between male and female reflect God’s original creation design and are meant for human good and human flourishing.
WE DENY that such differences are a result of the Fall or are a tragedy to be overcome.
Article 5
WE AFFIRM that the differences between male and female reproductive structures are integral to God’s design for self-conception as male or female.
WE DENY that physical anomalies or psychological conditions nullify the God-appointed link between biological sex and self-conception as male or female.
Article 6
WE AFFIRM that those born with a physical disorder of sex development are created in the image of God and have dignity and worth equal to all other image-bearers. They are acknowledged by our Lord Jesus in his words about “eunuchs who were born that way from their mother’s womb.” With all others they are welcome as faithful followers of Jesus Christ and should embrace their biological sex insofar as it may be known.
WE DENY that ambiguities related to a person’s biological sex render one incapable of living a fruitful life in joyful obedience to Christ.
Article 7
WE AFFIRM that self-conception as male or female should be defined by God’s holy purposes in creation and redemption as revealed in Scripture.
WE DENY that adopting a homosexual or transgender self-conception is consistent with God’s holy purposes in creation and redemption.
Article 8
WE AFFIRM that people who experience sexual attraction for the same sex may live a rich and fruitful life pleasing to God through faith in Jesus Christ, as they, like all Christians, walk in purity of life.
WE DENY that sexual attraction for the same sex is part of the natural goodness of God’s original creation, or that it puts a person outside the hope of the gospel.
Article 9
WE AFFIRM that sin distorts sexual desires by directing them away from the marriage covenant and toward sexual immorality— a distortion that includes both heterosexual and homosexual immorality.
WE DENY that an enduring pattern of desire for sexual immorality justifies sexually immoral behavior.
Article 10
WE AFFIRM that it is sinful to approve of homosexual immorality or transgenderism and that such approval constitutes an essential departure from Christian faithfulness and witness.
WE DENY that the approval of homosexual immorality or transgenderism is a matter of moral indifference about which otherwise faithful Christians should agree to disagree.
Article 11
WE AFFIRM our duty to speak the truth in love at all times, including when we speak to or about one another as male or female.
WE DENY any obligation to speak in such ways that dishonor God’s design of his imagebearers as male and female.
Article 12
WE AFFIRM that the grace of God in Christ gives both merciful pardon and transforming power, and that this pardon and power enable a follower of Jesus to put to death sinful desires and to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord.
WE DENY that the grace of God in Christ is insufficient to forgive all sexual sins and to give power for holiness to every believer who feels drawn into sexual sin.
Article 13
WE AFFIRM that the grace of God in Christ enables sinners to forsake transgender selfconceptions and by divine forbearance to accept the God-ordained link between one’s biological sex and one’s self-conception as male or female.
WE DENY that the grace of God in Christ sanctions self-conceptions that are at odds with God’s revealed will.
Article 14
WE AFFIRM that Christ Jesus has come into the world to save sinners and that through Christ’s death and resurrection forgiveness of sins and eternal life are available to every person who repents of sin and trusts in Christ alone as Savior, Lord, and supreme treasure.
WE DENY that the Lord’s arm is too short to save or that any sinner is beyond his reach.
