Three Signs of the End of the Age
Christ gave us a promise that He was coming back for us – that He would not leave us as orphans (see John 14:18). When we read the Gospel accounts the subject of His return was a dominant conversational piece. Christ talked about it, taught about it, and even warned about it. The Apostles touch on this subject in every single epistle written. They declared the end to be at hand. And Christ said so Himself, “Behold, I come quickly…” (see Revelation 22:20).
It’s been 2000 years and we’re still waiting. And like the kids in the back seat on a road trip across Kansas, we are crying, “Are we there yet?”
I think the answer to that question is becoming clearer as we see the Day of the LORD approaching. There are many signs that we could talk about, which Christ tells us are the “beginning of sorrows” such as famines, rumors of wars, and plagues (see Matthew 24). These are global, touching every country on earth. They’re not new, but their intensity and frequency are increasing just as birth pangs always do.
However, there are three signs I want to talk about that are not so common. In fact they are distinct isolates within scripture that cannot be duplicated. Christ’s return is entirely conditional upon them. They are prerequisite. And the platform for each one is presently being fleshed out before our very eyes.
If you’re in the proverbial back seat gawking and hollering, “Are we there yet?!”, it’s time to look up. Your redemption draws nigh.
In this post I’m going to point out three very clear scriptural signs which have NEVER been seen before, which are currently coming to pass simultaneously. I’m going to introduce you to each one and give you the map to read about them for yourself by providing you with links below.
The Third Temple
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God, (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, KJV).
Hardcore construction plans for the third temple are currently underway. The Temple Institute has been drafting plans for years with careful and meticulous deliberation. The painstaking preparations are currently in place for the many articles and priestly services, which are all but completed.
There is much to be said about the Third Temple in Scripture. The construction and completion of the third temple is before our eyes. It will be the one desecrated by the Antichrist in the Abomination of Desolation, who must appear prior to the LORD’s return (see the prophecies of Daniel).
The Mark of the Beast
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years, (Revelation 20:4, KJV).
Scripture tells us there will be a very clear mark given by the Antichrist in the right hand or upon the forehead, by which all will swear allegiance unto him and thus seal their eternal fate unto damnation. Those who do not take his mark will suffer tribulation, persecution, and death – yet will be saved unto eternal life in Christ.
The elect bride, the remnant whom God preserves for Himself, will refuse the mark. They will not love their lives unto the death, but will choose to serve Christ in being faithful to Him – whatever the cost.
There is new talk about chips being implanted in the hand which allow people to be identified and make purchases. And although this is not mandated, the technology has been developed and has been successfully implemented in several willing subjects. There is talk about the extent to which this will eventually be implemented in all people for the sake of identity and security.
The Salvation of Israel
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord, (Matthew 23:37-39, KJV).
Perhaps the greatest and most astounding sign is the awakening of Israel (the Jews) to their Messiah. Blind eyes are being opened, and the Jewish response is truly astounding.
Orthodox Rabbi’s are welcoming Christians. Jews are reading about the Messiah in the New Testament, and through their study are coming to faith in Christ Jesus their Messiah (a.k.a. Yeshua Hamashiach). In fact, there is a stirring interest in Christ among the Jews that has never been seen before.
For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? (Romans 11:15, KJV).
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes, (Romans 11:25-28, KJV).
Paul speaks these words with great passion, making it clear that once Israel fully awakens to her Messiah – we can know with all certainty that our resurrection is drawing nigh (see Romans 9-11).
Conclusion
There are many signs of the end of the age upon us. The birth pangs are increasing at an alarming rate. Prophecies that have laid dormant in silence for thousands of years, being veiled in mystery are finally coming to pass. There are signs in heavens and upon the earth. As for heaven, we are currently in the Shemitah year, wherein four blood moons have passed – all of them upon Israel’s holy feasts of Passover and Sukkot. As for earth, there is vehement persecution against the Christian faith all over the world. Finally, there is famine, war and pestilence precisely as Christ spoke, all with increasing frequency and intensity. And of course there is the increase in wickedness and false prophets within the Church, of which I’ve already written.
Let’s watch and pray. I beg you to invest time reading the articles below. I believe they are worthy of your time and attention. And I pray you will be found ready, fully preserved unto Him on that Day in body, soul, and spirit.
Look up.
Cheers & Shalom,
