Passover (otherwise known as Pesach) is the first feast of the Jewish year. It’s one of the most celebrated and sacred feasts of the LORD, namely because it reveals our Messiah so clearly. When Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed His blood for our sins, He fulfilled the Passover perfectly.
On the night Jesus was betrayed He said:
27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
When Jesus Christ our Messiah was finally sacrificed, it was on Passover.
The world has never been the same.
Passover 2020
Fast forward — People all over the world are shut up in their houses during one of the holiest weeks of the year: Passover. Much like ancient Israel, people are at home waiting for the plague to pass.
Passover begins Wednesday, April 8th at sundown.
As believers we continue to keep the Passover feast in remembrance of our Lord as He commanded by eating the bread of His broken body, and drinking the cup of His shed blood (see 1 Corinthians 11:23-32). This is often termed ‘holy communion’ within churches. However, biblically, this is actually our new covenant celebration of the Passover feast, which is otherwise known as ‘the Lord’s Supper’.
For the first time since the 1917-18 Spanish Flu killed approximately 100 million, countries around the world are officially locked down. The U.S. government anticipates that the next two weeks will be very difficult as we reach the peak of infection and subsequent deaths from the COVID-19 pandemic.
God has not left us without His instruction. He has spoken and has continued to speak. In this post we’re going to discuss God’s word on the COVID-19 pandemic, and our biblical response.
The Word of the Lord Fulfilled

L to R: Amber Aitson, Nancy Goate, and Erin Pavlicek at Gathering of Tribal Nations 2016.
I have previously shared with my readership the prophecy of my late friend Nancy Goate, the Secretary and Treasurer of United Tribes for Christ Fellowship in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who shared with me a prophecy about COVID-19 in the Spring of 2018.
Many may wonder, “Who is Nancy Goate?” That question deserves answering. Nancy was a dear friend who loved the LORD with all her heart. She worked tirelessly with Native American ministries across the United States and Canada to unite the Body of Christ and awaken the Native American people to their destiny in this hour. I worked intimately with Nancy and United Tribes for Christ Fellowship for three years prior to her passing.
When Nancy called me in early 2018 she was overwhelmed with what she had heard so clearly from the LORD. With sun and springtime upon us it seemed ill-timed, and because she was not a medical professional, she wasn’t sure how to interpret what she had received. That’s when she felt compelled to call and tell me what the Lord said:
Pray over your houses. There is a virus coming. They created it, and it’s designed to kill.
It was one of the clearest words she’d ever received from God, and it rightly had her alarmed. When I heard it, I immediately took note. Since that time Nancy Goate tragically passed on January 15, 2019. She never witnessed this word come to fruition. But the word of the Lord lived on, proving to be true. Less than two years later COVID-19 hijacked the entire world. Recently, United States leadership confirmed its epidemiology: COVID-19 was indeed created by the Chinese Communist Party (source), further confirming the word of the Lord.
When COVID-19 initiatives were first being implemented, I initially released the Lord’s word to my readership in our February newsletter. Now, as the pandemic unfolds, I feel further compelled to share it with the public, especially with regard to the time. There is something God wants to urgently remind us: He is calling us to keep the feast, for His Passover Lamb, Jesus Christ, has been sacrificed.
His instruction was very simple: Pray over your houses. The rest is history. The plague has come. They created it. And it’s killing innocent people worldwide.
How to Pray Over Your House
As a Christian your house is more than your physical home or dwelling. It’s more than your address or residence. The Word of God declares we are the temple of His Holy Spirit. He no longer resides within temples made by the hands of men, but within us. We are the living breathing Body of Christ, knit together by His indwelling Spirit and shed blood.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
I encourage you to continue to watch and pray as the LORD commanded in His Word. As you walk this out with Him, be vigilant in following Him, obeying Him, and walking in His Spirit.
CELEBRATING PASSOVER
1 Corinthians 11:23-32
If you would like to celebrate Passover, it’s very simple.
As a believer you can take holy communion by partaking of the Lord’s Supper with your family,
doing so in remembrance of Him as He commanded.
Closing Statement
In closing, it’s time to keep the feast. In the days ahead I believe we will witness the Lion of Judah roar.
Cheers & Shalom,
