Moving Forward: The Future of Appointed Time Ministries
Great things are happening! This ministry update is one of many more yet to come. The last one was almost a year ago when we launched our new website in an endeavor to maximize our reach. Our platform strategy went global. We released our advocacy for Native American | First Nations ministries, and our publishing endeavors went live with our blog and the release of our first bible study, Matthew 24: The End According to Christ.
We are now experiencing another level of growth requiring a greater investment, which is very exciting, and I would like to take this opportunity to share it with you.
The Preparation and Pursuit of 501-(c)3 Accreditation
God is ready to take this ministry to the next level, which means obtaining an official 501-(c)3 accreditation through the US government. It has become very clear that this ministry will not be empowered to do what it’s called to accomplish unless that is obtained. Until this time, Appointed Time Ministries has served in a limited capacity online, without financial assistance of any kind, and through informal ministry relationships that need to be formalized. It has NOT been receiving donations, nor is it currently able to receive donations of any kind, precisely because we are not 501-(c)3 accredited, and therefore cannot account for those funds legally. These current limitations are clearly delineated in our Terms and Conditions, which we invite you to view at your leisure. These Terms and Conditions will be promptly updated to reflect any financial changes once 501-(c)3 accreditation is achieved.
These current financial limitations must change if we’re going to do the will of God on earth as it is in heaven in seeing our core purposes fulfilled. That means applying for a 501-(c)3 accreditation with the ability to receive tax-deductible donations and funding from individuals and entities, both public and private, who choose to support us in our mission and ministry goals.
Appointed Time Ministries endeavors to conduct all manner of ministry business with the utmost integrity and excellence. Our reputation directly reflects upon the LORD Jesus Christ, from whom we take orders and to whom we ultimately give account.
Therefore, in the months ahead we will be taking the necessary steps to achieve accreditation appropriately, having all the necessary people and documents in order. Please know that this is a process that takes time, and we will pursue it patiently until it is rightfully granted.
If you would like to support us financially, we will do our diligence in letting you know when we’re able to begin receiving tax-deductible donations. Until that time, please do NOT attempt to send us funding of any kind. Another update such as this will be posted, along with the appropriate information and changes on this website to enable those abilities, should you choose to financially support us.
ECFA Accreditation
With the 501-(c)3 accreditation, Appointed Time Ministries will also pursue ECFA (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability) accreditation as well. This is a third-party accrediting service for ministries who demonstrate excellence in their financial stewardship.
ECFA accreditation provides an objective third-party brand of trust through strict measures of financial accountability. Appointed Time Ministries believes this brand of trust and accountability is not optional – it is obligate. Those who support us financially have a right to that trust, knowing their hard-earned dollars are being spent wisely, precisely, being appropriated according to their designated purpose, and utilized to their maximum potential.
Regardless of ECFA accreditation, once 501-(c)3 accreditation is achieved, Appointed Time Ministries will submit, upon request and without question or hesitation, a full financial report to any entity or individual should they desire that information.
Let it be known that ECFA accreditation is of utmost importance to us as we move forward. With 501-(c)3 accreditation, we will also actively seek and pursue the public recognition and accountability of the ECFA until it is rightfully awarded.
We kindly ask that you be patient with us as we proceed.
The Board
As we move forward in these endeavors, Appointed Time Ministries will soon be formally introducing the individuals serving on our board.
Appointed Time Ministries recognizes the need for accountability on all fronts: spiritually, morally, ethically, and financially. That accountability will be formally introduced once 501(c)3 accreditation is achieved.
These individuals are Christian men and women of excellence and integrity who share in our CORE here at Appointed Time Ministries. They serve with honor, and will be given official positions within the ministry for strategic purposes.
With that said, you will see some new names and faces in the months ahead! These quality individuals, both professional and ministerial, will be serving within this ministry in various roles and capacities. I am excited to be introducing them to you!
New Growth and Opportunity
With the formal initiation of the board you will also see some very necessary changes in our mission as we further develop and clarify our strategy to embrace and fulfill the proposed scope of this ministry, which God is enlarging. God is widening our tent pegs! He’s broadening our horizon! Opportunities are growing! He is clearly extending our reach, and with that reach, our global influence. These changes are an incredible honor from the LORD God. With this increased honor, also comes a greater responsibility and accountability. These opportunities are ones we are ready to eagerly embrace! They are both exciting and challenging. However, if we’re going to fulfill them we must steward them wisely and well. That means the aforementioned changes must be implemented effectively, and timing is of the essence.
In closing, I want to thank everyone for their generous and prayerful support. We are excited to move forward with God’s calling, and we endeavor to achieve all He has purposed and planned for us with excellence.
We kindly invite you to be a part of it! There is much more to come!
