Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to all of you!
Blog Schedule
For those of you who have subscribed within the last year, I’d like to kindly make you aware of our holiday blog schedule. Between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day the blog is very quiet. This is a special time of celebration set aside with our families and friends. We want to wish you a beautiful holiday season with your loved ones! Our next post will go live on January 7th, and we look forward to meeting you back here! There is a lot of great material planned for 2017!
Terms & Conditions
We are still in the process of moving forward with incorporation. At this time we are working hard to carefully assemble our governing board with the proper individuals. At this time we are able to take tax-deductible donations through our affiliate United Tribes for Christ. All donations will be processed through them. If you would like to make a donation, please visit our donation page. Please know that our Terms & Conditions has been updated to reflect this change.
Latest Book Release
I am very excited about my newest release, Stand: The Gates of Hell Shall Not Prevail. This is one of the most extraordinary and anointed books I’ve ever written. At this time Stand is available on Amazon via Kindle, and will very soon be available in paperback! We do not have a firm date at this time, but it should be available before the first of the year. We invite you to take a look! This book will bless you and many others, so please share!
DAPL Protests
For those of you who may not know, for months the Native American community has come together to peacefully protest the Dakota Access Pipe Line in Standing Rock, North Dakota on the Sioux reservation. The DAPL is a multi-billion dollar project which endeavors to lay thousands of miles of pipeline across America carrying millions of gallons of crude oil per day beneath our most critical waterways — the most significant being the Missouri River which empties into the Mississippi. This Missouri and Mississippi Rivers are of critical importance to Americans who live in the Mid-west contiguous states, and is part of one of largest Watersheds in the world. As a result of these peaceful protests, local, state and federal law enforcement entities, including the National Guard, have been deployed to that area. The mainline media blacklisted this event at its onset. Therefore, it is quite likely that you may not know about these protests. With that said the United Nations has motioned to defend the Native American people in urging our government to stop the DAPL, and many other countries have publicly protested it as well; the most notable being Ireland, England, Italy, and other European countries.
Native American tribes and nations have gathered from all over America and Canada to stand together. They have set up camps, erecting tipis, building fires, and cooking meals. They are living in much the same manner they did nearly 100 years ago, but they are doing so in camps now numbering in the thousands. They are praying and holding ceremonial dances in one accord. Many companies have trucked in water, wood, and supplies in support of the this protest. This move is bringing great unity among the Native American peoples unlike anything ever seen before in history. Those tribes who were once at war and sworn enemies have made reconciliation as well. It’s been a tremendous thing to behold.
In response to these protests, law enforcement has illegally gassed, maced, shot, and apprehended hundreds of Native American people during prayer and ceremonial rituals. Several have died, including women, elderly, and children. Law enforcement officials have currently taken to hosing them from firetrucks in weather that is blow freezing. They have even been put in makeshift jails made of dog cages. The people have stood firm and unified despite these illegal acts against them, and remain assembled in peace. This illegal, inhumane and insufferable treatment must be stopped immediately. Many of these accounts have been caught on private film by freelance and professional journalists, some of whom were charged with felonies for filming and have subsequently been sentenced to years in prison. The freedom of the press has been shut down. As a result, brave individuals are taking it upon themselves to cover the protests and post publicly. Many of them have faced horrible threats and repercussions for doing so.
THIS HAS TO STOP IMMEDIATELY. The Native American people are not disbanding. On the contrary, they are more stalwart and resolute than ever. We anticipate the protests to continue through the Winter months. Please pray for the Native American community. The treatment they have suffered and endured is much like that of centuries ago, and the derogatory mindset of governing officials against them has not changed. They are being treated like animals.
We are herein making an official announcement: Appointed Time Ministries wants America and the rest of the world to know that we stand firmly against the DAPL in solidarity with our Native American brothers and sisters who are peacefully protesting for the protection of our water, and their sacred land and burial sites. We condemn the illegal and inhumane acts against them by law enforcement, and we have signed petitions for it to cease.
Our affiliate United Tribes for Christ Fellowship recently sent a team who came back to report the people are asking for Christian prayers because their traditional “medicine” is not working. United Tribes for Christ Fellowship is currently planning a month-long visit to Standing Rock, North Dakota to assist those who are suffering, provide relief, and to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the face of such terror brought about by our local, state, and federal government.
We invite you stand with us and donate toward this mission. If you would like to donate to United Tribes for Christ Fellowship toward this mission please visit their website at www.unitedtribesforchrist.org. If you would like to know more about the DAPL, please visit Standing Rock Rising on Facebook. Mr. Redhawk is a freelance photographer who is providing coverage. Many other journalists, both professional and freelance, have done the same. With that said, an abundance of information will not be hard for you to find. However, it will not likely be available via mainstream media.
Covenanting With Israel
Appointed Time Ministries will soon be reaching out to many individuals, ministries, and Native leadership in the months to come regarding covenanting with Israel. This is a delicate yet critical endeavor, and we would like to kindly ask for your prayers. We plan to eventually meet with every Chief and Tribal Council represented among the 39 tribes. This will be a joint effort requiring the cooperative help of many individuals. We endeavor to begin this process in 2017 following the holidays. There will be more on this in the future. As efforts move forward we will keep you updated.
Great Expectations for 2017
2016 has been wonderful! God has blessed us in incredible ways. We expect 2017 will be even better, which will be a great year of fulfillment and growth. Here’s what you can expect:
PUBLICATIONS
We are very excited to announce that two more bible studies, and possibly another non-fiction book are slated for publication. The first study is due Spring 2017 and will cover the Hebraic roots of Christianity as well as your identity and inheritance in Christ. The official title is yet to be determined. This is a wonderful and deep study I wrote ten years ago that will fortify the foundation of your faith. This summer we look to possibly publish a life assessment workbook. This is the first time this has been mentioned, and is still being considered. This next Fall we will publish the bible study The Seven Churches. This powerful study is going to take you deep into the message of Christ for His Church in the last days. Get ready to hear what the Spirit is saying!
COVENANT
The largest project on our plate is the covenant between Native America and Israel, and the steps we are taking toward ensuring its fulfillment among all tribes. The work we will be doing in that regard is going to take time, and much prayer as we endeavor to meet with leadership and government officials. Please pray for us.
INCORPORATION
We anticipate becoming officially incorporated in the months to come. Please pray for us as we build and establish our governing board.
WORK AMONG THE NATIVE AMERICAN COMMUNITY
We anticipate a greater unity among all Native people in 2017, which 2016 was very instrumental toward. There is a lot happening in the Native community, and we will continue to remain active and involved. As opportunities arise we will present them here on our blog. We invite you to volunteer, donate, and become involved with us!
We want to thank you for being a part of this ministry! You are an integral part of what we do, and why we do it. God bless you during this holiday season! We want to wish you a glorious 2017!
Cheers & Shalom,
