Where We Stand & Where We’re Going

Welcome to the 2nd and 3rd Quarter Update for 2017. It’s been a busy spring and summer. We’re excited to share with you the progress we’re making, and also excited about the new ventures and changes to come.

But first, we’d like to say that we are heartbroken and shocked at the shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas on Sunday, November 6th, 2017. Our hearts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and the entire community locally and beyond. This unconscionable act was devastating. We are praying for God’s love, mercy, grace and justice to meet every need.

The suffering and grief for the losses right now is widespread. We want to respect that time to grieve, and therefore offered a moment of silence in deferring to post for The Gospel Diaries yesterday. The post has been rescheduled for tomorrow morning on November 7.

Please keep all the victims and their families in your prayers.

The Blog Project

As mentioned in our last update, the Blog Project is still underway, and proving to be a large undertaking. Right now, we have a new blog menu for the categories and sub-categories, which you can readily see. However, some of these are still blank (empty) because the posts already written have not yet been assigned. You will see that change as the year progresses, and we appreciate your patience in this endeavor.

Social Media

We are no longer present on Facebook. That account has been permanently deleted. The reasons for this are:

1.) Facebook’s algorithms did not prove to reach our audience with the success we would have expected, despite our earnest efforts to expand our reach. We have concluded that part of this is due to their liberal bias and the control they execute over how a post is circulated within the Facebook community. Christian conservative content is reputedly removed, or in the very least ceases to circulate.

2.) Facebook offers no customer support, even for paying customers who wish to use their “sponsored posts”. Therefore, we are not a paying customer.

3.) Our level of trust in how Facebook handles shared information has nearly been lost. A lot of research in how the company does business and fuels their growth reveals means and methods which are those we cannot support or agree to participate with as a “user”. Facebook is now fully integrated with many other online companies allowing “sign in” options that connect or integrate the account. Although some may view this as favorable and convenient, we find their involvement to be unnecessary and intrusive. The motivations for such integrations, in our opinion, remain questionable. With such integration, they have access to information they should never be privy toward. There is a lot of ‘underground’ mapping of individuals that goes on within Facebook, and for reasons that are not justifiable for any social media company. There are questions as to why Facebook collects the information they do. It goes very deep. We believe some of these reasons are beyond anything economically driven or motivated by revenue.

4.) Facebook ads were inaccurately labeling and connecting us with people, entities, and companies we cannot, do not, nor would we ever associate with. Again, their algorithms and how they are formulated, proved to be something gravely inaccurate and very disconcerting.

Posts that were shared on Facebook in the past are sure to be circulating. And we wholeheartedly encourage you to share our information on Facebook if you wish. That is not a problem. Facebook is a viable platform, and we offer that opportunity at the bottom of each page and post for those who are Facebook users. However, with regard to a personal account, we no longer have one — for the specific reasons outlined above. Israel

Our involvement with Israel has included a trip this Fall during the October Welcoming the King of Glory conference in Jerusalem for Sukkot. Nations from around the world came to demonstrate their solidarity and support for Israel as the Jewish State, and for the Jewish people. We were graciously hosted by twelve Messianic Rabbi’s who served locally. The response was overwhelming as the Gospel came full circle back to Jerusalem. It was a wonderful prophetic fulfillment of what God is doing in this last hour among the nations as He prepares all of us for His return. Even more significantly, the Native American people had the honor of opening the conference with proper protocols, which we believe was a prophetic fulfillment of their position in this last hour, and also very appropriate due to their extraordinary covenant with Israel.

We are developing a full report at this time, and will soon be posting it, complete with photos. Videos are now uploaded to our Vimeo site for viewing. There is more to come, as some of them require editing.

Native America

We are so excited to see what God is doing within Native America. Opportunities at large continue to expand, and His Spirit is pouring out with healing, deliverance, salvation, and even miracles, signs, and wonders.

We are witnessing the Sleeping Giant fully awaken to the call of God upon their nation for such a time as this. It is truly their appointed time in the Kingdom of God. Please keep in touch with us as things progress. Opportunities for involvement will be available in the near future. We will post these on our “Events” page. We will also make announcements via the blog under “News”. So stay tuned!

Publishing

2018 may be one of our biggest publishing years, as we are looking to release several new and already published works in their second edition (anniversary edition). In the near future you will also see the birth of our publishing company.

Anniversary Editions

We are in the process of releasing anniversary editions for the following works:

Matthew 24: The End According to Christ
Effectual Repentance: Where the Guilt Trip Ends and Freedom Begins
Stand: The Gates of Hell Shall Not Prevail

All of these will be released according to their initial dates with new and updated information for biblical study. Stand will also come to include Q & A at the end of each chapter.

New Releases

As for new releases, there are several irons in the fire:

An Assignment Advocating for Native America — God has given me an extraordinary assignment as an author, which I have humbly accepted and am currently praying toward. This work will underscore the work of God in restoring the Native American people, their ancestral link to Israel, and define how God is using them in this last hour on a global scale. It’s approximately a five-year project which will require great amounts of research and the collaborative efforts of many people, including Native leaders, dignitaries, and laymen across North America. This will be approximately a five-year project with the tentative release slated for 2022.

Our First Children’s Book — We have high hopes of releasing our first children’s book in 2018! This is one of our biggest projects, which I will be personally illustrating. I’m very excited! For those of you who do not know, I’ve studied art all my life. The chosen medium for this work will be acrylics. More to come on this as things develop.

A New Stepping Stone’s Bible Study — A new bible study on the seven churches of Revelation is currently underway. We hope to have this released by December 2018. It will go deep and hit hard. This particular study will be very strategic in helping prepare the Body of Christ for His return. This one has been brewing for a while, and I’m very excited about its release!

Fiction Series — I am also praying about my fiction work, which I’ve been working on since 2008. An enormous amount of research has been required for this storyline which is set in the Civil War era. The tentative release is still targeted for 2020. Stay tuned for an amazing adventure that is sure to reach many people with the Gospel.

Speaking

I anticipate speaking more in 2018. My speaking engagements will focus on preparing the Body of Christ for His return and the changes within the Church at large.

Clarification of Mission & Beliefs: A Statement on the Bridal Paradigm

As a ministry whose core purpose is to prepare the Body of Christ for the Lord’s return, we have found it necessary to clarify our stance on a prevalent doctrine circulating within the Church termed as “the bridal paradigm” by Mike Bickle.

Many people across the spectrum have presented questions about IHOP and its doctrines, which I’ve had to sensitively and respectfully answer. There has been much confusion based on speculative assumptions that we endorse IHOP and its teaching. To alleviate such widespread confusion, I authored a very detailed and lengthy post in February of 2017 outlining our stance on this particular doctrine, as well as our view on IHOP, which has been updated with an official statement and recommended reading.

We are often asked about IHOP because our focus on end times with the mission to prepare the Body of Christ for the Lord’s return. Unfortunately, there is a prevalent assumption that we are either involved with IHOP or that we endorse or support it and its doctrines. Nothing could be further from the truth.

As a Kansas City native I am a firsthand witness of numerous accounts of IHOP’s doctrines and practices, which are extraordinarily dark, deceptive, and destructive. What is most commonly found is that Christians who view or hear of IHOP from a distance do not objectively witness these dark and destructive inner-workings of the organization, and therefore seldom detect or discern the spiritual heresy at work. Nor do they witness its effects upon its victims. IHOP is very well marketed, and very strategically and seductively packaged to attract young, vulnerable, and naive believers who are excited about their faith and genuinely seeking more of God.

IHOP is indeed a cult. And it’s a very dangerous and destructive one. Many, many genuine believers who love the Lord are drawn to IHOP because of the unique spiritual opportunities it boasts. IHOP has been, and is currently closely integrated (in league) with other fanatical and heretical doctrines and other cult organizations since its inception. I strongly caution anyone who would endeavor to involve themselves with IHOP or embrace their teaching. Get out. Get help. And do it fast. Flee from it and please seek help for loved ones who are involved or trapped.

There are more accounts of IHOP’s heretical activity than I can numerate. Time and space would fail me to tell of the damage this organization has done. It was founded in the early 1990’s and has been steadily growing ever since. Again, as a Kansas City native who has witnessed so much firsthand, I can, with a clear conscience, say that IHOP is an extraordinarily dangerous cult — and for many reasons that exceed the spiritual element of a believer’s life. The effects it has upon its victims is extraordinarily damaging physically, mentally, emotionally, financially, socially, sexually, and spiritually. The resources required to heal and save them are beyond what most people can fathom. They require psychological help, hospitalization, deliverance and healing, and reintegration into society as a productive and thriving citizen.

Let it be known: Appointed Time Ministries has absolutely NO ASSOCIATION with IHOP, Mike Bickle, their counterparts, affiliates, or their doctrines. We do not support it. We do not endorse it. We encourage anyone in question of this to research IHOP for themselves. Our Biblical Stand

Appointed Time Ministries is not a fanatical prophetic ministry. We are biblically based, and our doctrine is very strict with regard to how God’s word is handled and how we are to live our lives in accordance with scripture. We endorse and teach only what is of sound biblical doctrine. With regard to prophecy, we follow the biblical guidelines outlined by Jesus Christ, the prophets, and His Apostles, which clearly teaches how prophecy functions and how it is to be handled. Everything is to be tested. Furthermore, the Berean approach is central to our biblical study and teaching, to which we ourselves are also subject.  Let us be absolutely clear: All teaching of God’s Word by any man — including our own — is subject to testing and should be proven by the Berean approach. Anything outside of sound biblical doctrine is to be strictly discarded and reproved.

We invite you to read our CORE mission, beliefs, and statement of faith. We are diligent to uphold God’s Word with the fear of God. We endeavor to handle the scriptures with accuracy. Again, we consistently teach the Berean approach.
